bathed in bright light
There you are, bathed in bright light
All your friends have gone
You've had a great fright
But all the world's a stage
Don't be shy, take your place now
You know the show must go on
Despite how crazy this night feels
On your mark, watch your step, go
All your life led you here, so...
Say goodnight, Lullaby
Say goodnight, don't say why
Cuz there you are, bathed in bright light,
All your friends have gone
You've had a great fright
But all the world's a stage

Two wolves
An old Cherokee told his grandson: "My son, there's a battle between two
wolves inside us all. One is Evil. It's anger, jealousy, greed,
resentment, inferiority, lies and ego. The other is Good. It's joy,
peace, love, hope, humility, kindness and truth." The boy thought about
it and asked: "Grandfather, which wolf wins?". The old man quietly
replied: "The one you feed."

Solitude
Laugh, and the world laughs with you;
Weep, and you weep alone.
For the sad old earth must borrow it's mirth,
But has trouble enough of its own.
Sing, and the hills will answer;
Sigh, it is lost on the air.
The echoes bound to a joyful sound,
But shrink from voicing care.
Rejoice, and men will seek you;
Grieve, and they turn and go.
They want full measure of all your pleasure,
But they do not need your woe.
Be glad, and your friends are many;
Be sad, and you lose them all.
There are none to decline your nectared wine,
But alone you must drink life's gall.
Feast, and your halls are crowded;
Fast, and the world goes by.
Succeed and give, and it helps you live,
But no man can help you die.
There is room in the halls of pleasure
For a long and lordly train,
But one by one we must all file on
Through the narrow aisles of pain.
Weep, and you weep alone.
For the sad old earth must borrow it's mirth,
But has trouble enough of its own.
Sing, and the hills will answer;
Sigh, it is lost on the air.
The echoes bound to a joyful sound,
But shrink from voicing care.

Secret things..
Being with the Secret Things
I am too alone in this world, and not alone enough
to make every moment holy.
I am too tiny in this world, and not tiny enough
just to lie before you like a thing,
shrewd and secretive.
I want my own will, and I want simply to be with my
will
as it goes toward action.
and in the silent, sometimes hardly moving times
when something is coming near.
I want to be with those who know secret things
or else alone.

Final Notations
FINAL NOTATIONS
It will not be simple, it will not be long
it will take little time, it will take all your thought
it will take all your heart, it will take all your breath
it will be short, it will not be simple
it will touch through your ribs, it will take all your heart
it will not be long, it will occupy your thought
as a city is occupied, as a bed is occupied
it will take all your flesh, it will not be simple
You are coming into us who cannot withstand you
you are coming into us who never wanted to withstand you
you are taking parts of us into places never planned
you are going far away with pieces of our loves
it will be short, it will take all your breath
it will not be simple, it will become your will

Frida Kahlo
I leave you my portrait so that you will have my presence all the days and nights that I am away from you - Frida Kahlo
Frida Kahlo was one of the most strong and inspirational women in the history of man kind, she was fiery insane, spontaneous,with such a unique sense of style and way of looking at the world, she had no fear to be who she was and do what she wanted to do, an unstoppable force.
On days like today I wish I had a bit more of her fire in me:)

DIY hard boiled egg tutorial
Find some old silk ties, and cut open at all seems creating the largest possible amount of silk, cut out squares that are roughly 12 cm2
place raw egg in the middle of the square, and tie up as tightly as possible
Put in saucepan full of boiling water with a generous dash of vinegar in, and boil for 20 minutes.

Easter at home
So I am home in Hamburg after a busy week of celebration, sunbathing snow shovelling, happiness, sadness,hellos and goodbyes in England. After 3 and a half years I have finally come to terms with the fact that Hamburg is my home, and it feels great to be back!
