Today while walking to the bus stop i noticed lots of plants starting to sprout out of the ground, and it got me to thinking about the mentality i tend to have in spring compared to that which i have in winter (and yes, i am aware that winter is probably still to come,seeing as we have hardly even had snow that settled this year...) for the last few days even though it has been cold as hell, it has been beautifully crisp and sunny. As soon as the sun comes out my motivation is reactivated, and my hibernation mode is switched off.

My amazing rose bush in my garden, this little guy decided to bloom in december, and has been going strong ever since...apart from his weird frost blisters :)
The evening light at the end of summer and beginning of spring is just amazing, it is such a warmth that bathes everything in its reach in gold.
anyway, enough photos of pretty light:)
